ALPS Mountaineering began in 1993 by outdoor gear designer and founder Dennie Brune. ALPS Mountaineering is a leader in innovation and customer satisfaction. The company founder Dennis Brune began a successful career in 1979 with mountaineering manufacturer Kelty. He moved across the company from Product Development, Sales, and eventually Management. From the beginning, Dennis always loved the outdoors and had a great passion for designing outstanding gear. Working with industry leaders such as Sir Edmund Hillary and others during his path, Dennis Brune has continually pushed innovation throughout his career and designed quality gear.
